The Old Wheels of the World
Happy weekend everyone! I learned this reel from my teacher, the late Michael Rafferty, flute player from Ballinakill, Ireland. He told me that he heard this tune from a recording of Siobhan and Willie Kelly. Here is the manuscript: The Old Wheels of the World

The Concert Reel
Here is a tune that I learned from accordion player, John Whelan. We played this tune in Jimmy Kelly's basement as part of his monthly concert series. In the recording here, I played the tune up to speed the second time around. So enjoy, and I hope you like this one. For the manuscript of the tune, click here: The Concert Reel

The Pigeon on the Gate
Not to be confused with "Toss the Feathers" or "Cooley's", this is another staple tune that I learned from the playing of John Weir (Tyrone), Claire Keville (Galway), and Eithne Ni Dhonaile's (Clare) An Tri is a Rian album. Click here for the manuscript: Pigeon on the Gate
